Working for the Reading Eagle, the local newspaper, for seventeen years has also given John a variety of subjects to photograph in unique situations. John holds an associate's degree in Fine Art & Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and has won many awards for his news photos from the National Press Photographer's Association (NPPA), Pennsylvania Press Photographer's Association (PPPA), Pennsylvania Newspaper Publisher's Association (PNPA), and the Associated Press (AP).
